Peter S. Beagle, who wrote the screenplay and book adaptations of the 1978 Ralph Bakshi animated version of The Lord of the Rings<\/em> (Anthony Daniels (“C-3PO”) was the voice of Legolas!), and worked extensively on ensuring that the purity of the story was transferred to the screen. Beagle also wrote an introduction to the American edition of The Lord of the Rings<\/em> in the early 1970s. Beagle wrote his first novel, A Fine and Private Place<\/em>, when he was only 19 years old. Today he is the beloved author of The Last Unicorn<\/em> and numerous other works. He also wrote the teleplay for “Sarek” (episode 71 of Star Trek: TNG<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Carlene Cordova<\/a> is an indie-filmmaker, web producer, and designer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. A contributor to the Geek-culture website TheOneRing.net<\/a>, she also produced the site\u2019s enormously popular Oscar parties for Peter Jackson\u2019s The Lord Of The Rings<\/em> films. Before embarking on the three-year journey to make Ringers<\/em>, Carlene was a Senior Producer for Sony Pictures’ online entertainment network, Screenblast.com.
